Why barkingdogs?  As the saying goes, if your feet hurt well... your dogs are barking.

I love wearing flip flops!  I wear them almost exclusively throughout the year.  So after years of buying flip flops, really decades, and settling for style versus comfort or comfort versus style or support versus everything, I decided I had had enough of my dogs constantly barking. 

I began my research focusing on support and comfort in shoes.  Moving on to flip flops, I used this research and incorporated key supportive elements in my design. So what makes barkingdogs flip flops so great?  Well, keeping with the focus that a good shoe design starts with  support underneath, I have given all my designs a supportive footbed.  I also incorporated higher quality materials for the footbed, outsole and straps into all of my designs.  Finally, I looked to how barkingdogs Sandals could actually produce a product that could help our environment.  My sandals are eco-friendly, utilizing sustainable materials when possible and if not, making sure recycled materials are substituted in their place as well as water based glues.  My packaging is bio-degradable--no shoe boxes here!  Heck, I even choose a hosting site that is powered by wind power!   Our environment is fragile and I feel a responsibility that my company can make a difference.
